Description |
Film about the 'do's and don'ts' of film-making. A man buys a camera from a photographic chemist shop in Burnley after reading Movie Makers magazine and a Kodak book. Back home, he inspects his purchase before attempting to film in a local park and sending on the resulting carton to Kodak. He types a letter explaining his mistake in omitting the return address. The film is returned and projected with poor results. The man returns to the park to film with the aid of a tripod and meter, before studying an amateur film making book at home and demonstrating how rolling, trick and whirling titles are filmed. The opening titles include a reference to the Amateur Cinema League. |
