Description |
A film for schools about electrostatics - the generation of static electricity is demonstrated by various lab experiments involving a Van der Graaf generator and the static in clothes, and radioactive material is created in a particle accelerator. Scenes from a Hovis factory and an oil refinery show the efforts made to avoid potentially explosive sparks where combustible flour particles and flammable vapour in the atmosphere. |
