Description |
Footage of a motor racing meeting held by Aintree Circuit Club on 17th May 1975, marking 21 years of club races at the Aintree Motor Racing Circuit. The film opens with a brief history of the racing circuit, along with an insight into the present running of the club. A variety of cars are seen in the racing paddock, before completing practice laps, witnessed by the race marshals. The final races then take place in front of crowds of spectators. The race winners (including Eddie Jordan) are congratulated and presented with prizes by club officials and representatives from Taveners, a local sweet manufacturers. |
