A musical concert at the Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Meli Antu's formation in 1974 following their exile from the military coup and Pinochet's dictatorship in Chile in 1973. In this first part, Paul Morris from the Chile Solidarity Campaign welcomes people and speaks about the campaign. He thanks Meli Antu for their contribution to the cultural scene in Manchester and their struggle against Pinochet's dictatorship and for the liberation of all people from oppression. Then the the Chilean dance troupe Huelin, based in Cambridge, perform dances from all parts of Chile. |
