Description |
Film of events at Great Harwood near Accrington on the occasion of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Events featured include a procession to the church in Park Lane, the Children's Fancy Dress Ball, Coronation Ball and the Old Folk's Tea. The main event is the procession of carnival floats through the streets. The procession arrives at the Show Ground for judging of the floats and prize giving. Other events at the cricket ground are seen, these include a motorcycle race, boxing matches, Cowboys and Indians Show and a weight lifter. |
