Description |
Scenes from the Silver Jubille Celebrations in 1935 - the Mayor and civic dignitaries line up for photos, shots of the Jubilee Beacon at Timperley in the daytime and alight at night. An illuminated bus goes by. The Civic procession, including Mr Waterhouse, the Jubilee Major and Mr Shield, the Coronation Mayor. In 1936 there are scenes at the town hall following the death of George V and proclamations for the coronation of George VI. |
