The film opens with scenes from Butlins Holiday Camp in Skegness. A group of people ride fun cycles that seat a few people, hired from Butlins. They ride through Skegness and we see some of the town. There are scenes from the camp, we see rides, a boating pool and children playing on a slide. There are then scenes from 'Our Wedding on June 4th 1938 at St Pauls, Walkden'. We see the bride and groom outside the church, and their guests throw confetti. There follow scenes from the honeymoon in Llandudno. We see views of the local scenery, the pier, beach and donkey rides. The film ends scenes of the woman 'feeding the gulls on the Marine Drive'. The film also includes still images of postcards and of the wedding party. |
