Description

A film relating to the work of the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory at Bidston Observatory. The film opens with information about the problems the world is currently facing due to climate change and then there is a brief history of the Bidston Observatory. We learn about the work of the Proudman Oceanographic Observatory and we meet the scientists who talk about the development and deployment of their equipment. There are scenes out at sea where we see the equipment being deployed and back in the laboratory where we see the data that has been collected being processed.
