Description

The film charts the development of Liverpool's early industrial growth, from the Druids through to early twentieth century innovations. The film focuses specifically on the docks, including scenes of ships and trains unloading their cargo, dredgers cleaning the estuary and ferries crossing the Mersey. Concludes with shots of the Mersey Tunnel and airport.
