Description |
There are various shots of local worthies and members of clubs and societies, followed by a sequence showing Stepping Hill Hospital patients and staff, and a presentation to a Matron. A procession and brass bands pass down London Road and there follow some scenes at sports grounds showing races and a cricket match. Some ex-servicemen are shown at the Cenotaph and then some elderly people leaving the Grove cinema. The cinema staff are seen going off duty. |
