Description

Children at a Blackburn primary school perform physical exercises in their school playground and play informal games. After footage of children playing on a wall, a child swinging on a lamppost, and a busy school playground scene at playtime, the film cuts to children dressed in their whites for a PE lesson. Children perform forward rolls, jumps, handstands, leapfrogs and other bends and stretches, sometimes in pairs. The film ends with children doing handstands and playing cricket in a cobbled street.
