Description |
Richard Greenwood records more railway activities during the later days of steam mainly in and around the north of England including scenes following an accident involving loco 46416 at Rochdale Branch sidings. Also trips to Middleton and Whitworth for enthusiasts in Brake vans on 7th August 1965 and railtours passing through Ellesmere on 17th January 1965 and at Hellifield on 13th February 1965. Loco 70015 Apollo hauls the Lancastrian tour on 19th March 1965. Also seen are the industrial railways of the NCB at Walkden and the Manchester Ship Canal Co. in Trafford Park. |
