Description |
Newsreel footage presented by Lever Brothers and Unilever in 1950. Features Monty visits Port Sunlight. Field Marshall Montgomery presents medals to some British Legion membership workers and tours the factory. Soap - off the ration and Stork Margarine Returns shows various packaging and distribution processes, including interior shots of a factory in Cheshire. New Experimental Kitchens and Bakeries show the opening of an exhibition in London and Continuous Soap ! includes shots of a Bristol factory installing new soap equipment. The reel concludes with Rinso Roundabout, depicting a radio show recorded at at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight in front of an audience with Max Wall. |
