Description |
Film of the Duchess of Kent's visit to Skelmersdale. The royal car is seen arriving, the Duchess is introduced to a collection of civic dignitaries. She is seen touring a housing estate on foot, she talks to elderly residents and cub scouts. There is brief footage of the Duchess at an art exhibition and at a banquet in a sports hall. The royal car is seen leaving in front of waving crowds. Continues with a sequence of various sporting activities taking place in a sports hall, people are seen playing badminton, 5-a-side football and trampolining. Closes with a brief shot of the royal car. |
