Description |
Steam trains are seen at Ruabon station in Wales, followed by the Greenwoods' family out and about in the Welsh and Lancashire countryside. A number of stations in Cumbria are passed on a train journey, including Kirkby Stephen and Barras, and there are brief views of ferries and the Liver Building in Liverpool. Hay-making is seen and the family take a trip on the Tal-y-llyn railway. There are scenes at Jennifer's wedding, a family friend, in 1962, and the film ends with restoration work on the Ffestiniog Mountain Railway at Boston Lodge. |
