Description |
The Parkinson's take a holiday to Italy. Scenes include their car being hoisted onto a ferry and unloaded in France. The trip continues with footage of the Italian countryside and female farm workers along roadside with tools. The Parkinson women take a boat trip on an Italian lake. A brief sequence shows a rail journey through a snowy covered hillside landscape. Includes various shots of Venice, including a gondola trip and tourists feeding pigeons in St Mark's Square. A short sequence features Italian children posing for the camera as making fascist salutes. Concludes with shots of snow capped mountains, country house gardens and the Parkinson's arriving back in Lancashire laden with shopping bags from their trip. |
