Description |
Assorted footage featuring Dorothy and Thomas Hodkinson outside their bungalow, in different locations on the Fylde Coast and beyond. A Silver Jubilee tram is seen at Cleveleys and there are shots of Blackpool featuring the sea front, views of Stanley Park and rides at the Pleasure Beach. A royal visitor (believed to be Princess Anne) arrives by helicopter for an event at Rossall School in Fleetwood which features various displays and activities. The Hodkinsons visit Steamtown Carnforth and Hornsea Pottery in Lancaster before the film ends with shots of the Thornton Cleveleys Relief Road under construction. Also includes brief footage of Ambleside and Bolton Abbey. |
