Description

Opens with the Rose Queen outside a church in Northenden, she walks through ranks of uniformed boys (some are sea cadets). Cuts to Rose Queen being crowned, sat on throne and flanked by attendants. She is introduced to a couple standing in front of a car. The crowd in Yew Tree Park is seen as is a race and a fancy dress competition. Finishes with a couple shaking hands with the Rose Queen and attendants on a platform.
