Description |
Scenes at Corkington Court cafe and grounds. A sign is seen commemorating the International Conference on Tariffs and Trade, which was held at Torquay. Footage includes high angle shots of a cricket match taking place, with people sitting on the grass or in deck chairs, watching. Avril and Mrs Wintrobe are seen walking in the grounds, and there are shots of an old rusty carriage and a collection of old bicycles, including a Penny Farthing and a 'Starling Sociable'. A moss-covered watermill is seen in operation. The family are then seen leaving the Wellswood Hall Hotel (Torquay), stopping to eat sandwiches on their journey home. The car, still packed with luggage, is seen in the garage at home. |
