Description |
Leaders and members of the 1st Stretford Scout Group prepare to set off to their summer camp in Bassenthwaite Lake. During the journey we see shots of the M6 and of Ambleside. When they arrive, scouts get off the coach and set up camp by Bassenthwaite Lake. At the campsite they prepare, cook, serve and eat food. Two boys can be seen cutting some firewood followed by a camp inspection and later raise the flag. The leader hands out pocket money to the scouts. We see Honister Pass filmed from a moving car as well as scouts hiking, some scouts can be seen posting letters in a post box. Back at the campsite the scouts play cricket and later go canoeing. They camp up the camp and head home. |
