Description |
Pupils are seen arriving at Cale Green Primary School with bundles of newspaper and empty jam jars during the school's salvage drive in 1950. There are scenes from the 1951 'bring and buy' sale with various stalls and games including quoits, magnetic fishing and 'Guess the Weight.' In 1952, there is a school camping trip to Skerries in Ireland and the girl's teams are seen competing in the netball quarter-finals and rounders semi-finals. |
