Local newsreel events includes scenes of Winsford Carnival in Cheshire - competitors entered for the decorated bicycle competition stand by their elaborate designs waiting to be judged - a female dance troupe perform the can-can in front of the camera. Also features an air display at Southport sands - Mr M. Robineau, pilot of the 'Worlds Smallest Plane; The Flying Flea', prepares his monoplane for take off. After the flight he signs autographs for members of the public. Concludes with scenes of the miniature railway and gardens at Belle Vue. |
