Scenes from the 1970 Mayoress' Charity Ball at the Floral Hall, Southport, hosted by the Mayoress, Mrs B Eaton. A group of ladies are seen preparing the prizes for the tombola and raffle, and then there are scenes from the event itself. The official party arrives by limousine, and the Mayor and Mayoress are seen greeting guests. Views of ballroom dancing, people enjoying themselves and of the raffle being drawn. |
