Description

Trips taken by 3rd Barrow-in-Furness (Grammar School) Scout Troop,1969-1970. Youth Hostelling trips in the Lake District in October and Snowdonia at Easter. For New Year 1971 the scouts visit Louhrigg - hillwalking and outdoor activities, and scenes with the scouts cooking dinner, eating, and relaxing. Summer camp is in Galloway, with walking in the mountains and playing on the beach. Spoof shots of scouts being attacked by a lion and some crocodiles - shots from nature documentaries spliced into footage of the scouts themselves.
