Description

This film consists of brief shots of various people in different locations. We see Helen and John as babies, the Murphy boys play football in Kerridge, Aunty Marie at home, baby Helen sat in her pram while her mother cuts her nails, Karen poses with flowers then helps Helen learn to walk in the garden. We see Aunty Marie at the door, and then Cheryl is jokingly pulled through a door to pose in front of the camera. We see spectators at a bowling match, amongst them is Ada Warren. Aunty Marie sits with Helen in her pram and Karen is embarrassed to be filmed wearing shorts. We then go to Pott Shrigley where a shepherd helps a sheep to give birth to two lambs, the sheep then licks the lambs clean. There are more scenes of Karen playing in the garden and then there are landscape views shot from Green Lane. We see Tom, Jean and the film maker's mother on the Rec, and then Karen with a hen and her chicks. We then see scenes from Morecambe with Aunty Marie, Graham and his father. There are shots of the sea and people windsurfing and water skiing. We see Margaret Muir, Ron Povey and Alf on the mill car park, and then more scenes from the garden where Cheryl puts make up on Karen.
