Filmed as part of the Irwell Valley Mining Project, ex-miner Paul Kelly takes us around the sites of the lost pits of the Irwell valley, these include Pendleton, Clifton Hall, Newtown and Wheatsheaf Collieries. At each site Paul gives a brief historical or personal anecdote about the pit and its miners. |
