Description |
Scenes after the 1955/6 league title decider at Old Trafford between Manchester United and Blackpool on 7 April, with Manchester United receiving the trophy after the game and two players signing autographs. Footage shot from a TV screen of the Manchester City v Birmingham City FA Cup Final at Wembley in 1956, which City won 3-1. The teams are led on to the pitch and shake hands with the Duke of Edinburgh before the game gets underway. The film concludes with brief shots of a procession and a Boys' Brigade camp. |
