Description

The opening titles introduce the film as 'The Wedding of Marilyn and Allen', 'At South Manchester Synagogue March 10 1968.' Marilyn is woken at home by her mother with breakfast in bed, she then walks downstairs in her wedding dress. She is joined by more family members and bridesmaids and then has group photographs taken in the living room. Next we see Marilyn, followed by the wedding party and guests, arriving at the Synagogue. We see scenes from the wedding service and there follow scenes from the reception. The bride and groom are introduced, and are applauded by their guests. Speeches are made and the wedding cake is cut. The film ends with the bride and groom leading the dancing before being joined by the rest of their guests on the dance floor.
