Description |
A project partnership between WFA and the Northern Consortium of Textile Museums, a group of textile technology museums in the North of England, this film was one of a series designed to preserve textile machinery skills for the future by demonstrating and explaining the use of these old textile machines. To be used in conjunction with specialist training manuals, this film demonstrates Jacquard silk weaving and preparation at Macclesfield Museum Trust through a series of stages from cocoon to loom. This film is the 6th of six sections - Jacquard Weaving. |
