Description |
The film shows a variety of scenes from events at Liverpool University. Competitions such as a water polo match, and a Jazz band competition. The film covers the universities Panto Week, where the students persuade Bessie Braddock to join their procession. There are shots of two royal visits. The first is of Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh's visit to the School of Tropical Medicine in 1954. The second, in May 1955, is when the Duke of Edinburgh opens a new lab on Vine Street. |
