Description |
Interviews and discussion with three people about the cockroach infestation in Gretney Walk tower block in Hulme, Manchester. Brenda Astrum and Paul Beech from the Housing Department and Harry Sherwood from the Gretney Walk Tenants' Association talk about what was happening to resolve the problem before the Tenants' Association was set up, the resource problems faced by the Housing Dept and the structural problems built into the tower blocks which make it such an intractable problem. Explores why it took the establishment of the Tenants' Association to get the problem resolved. |
