Description |
Scenes of school life at Ardwick Technical High School showing pupils and teachers arriving at school and during lessons, which include typing, cookery, sewing, science and Physical Education. Students gather for morning assembly, teachers are seen during break-time in the staff room and pupils have meals in the school canteen. Continues with further classes in art, pottery and technical drawing, with boys doing metalwork and woodwork. Students attend after-school clubs in Spanish, photography and chess. Pupils are seen playing football, hockey and netball - some sports sequences are speeded up and in slow motion. Concludes with a school swimming gala at Victoria Baths and a sports day. |
