Description |
Compilation reel of Blackpool footage, including scenes on the seafront and at the Pleasure Beach; the aftermath of the R.H.O. Hills department store fire in 1967 with firemen damping down the remains of the fire, and the later demolition of the wrecked building. There are also scenes inside a menswear shop; a panoramic view from the top of the Tower; animals in the confines of Tower Zoo, and very rough seas crashing over the promenade. The reel ends with shots of the ‘Moby Dick’ sailing ship berthed at Morecambe seafront. |
