Bradford City FC directors and their wives are seen leaving Bradford by coach for Southport on 23rd April 1949. Stopping at Gisburn on route for a meal, the group are seen shopping on Lord Street, walking along the sea front and at Pleasureland. Scenes of the match (Southport won 2-1) are followed by a visit to the pier prior to the journey home. |
