Description |
Scenes around Blackpool. The film opens with the Wintrobe family on the pier - a sign for a children's show features Mickey Mouse. The inside of a theatre is seen, with children on stage with a clown, and a puppet show. We follow the family around the town, including internal shots of the hotel Lindum and the hotel room: the two Wintrobe girls sitting on the bed giggling; Carole in her mother's arms; waving for the camera. Outside footage includes scenes at a funfair, walking along the seafront, trams and Christmas lights (poss. Illuminations?). The remainder of the film features Carole's fourth birthday party: food, balloons, children in party hats enjoying themselves. |
