IT'S HAPPENED - WE'RE IN!
After all the careful planning and preparation we have moved to our fantastic new home in Manchester Central Library as part of Archives+. There are still a few things to sort out before we can resume all the normal services, so please bear with us, and we'll be up and running very soon. Meanwhile, pay us a visit in Archives+ and watch some films in our cool Viewing Pods, and in the BFI Mediatheque – there's a huge variety for all tastes and interests.

Set up in 1977, the Archive preserves moving images made in or about Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria and offers a variety of access services to users in the public, academic and commercial sectors.
The NWFA is part of Library Services Special Collections at Manchester Metropolitan University.
