Description |
The reel begins with a train approaching Waterfoot Station followed by shots of traffic along busy roads and shoppers walking around the Piccadilly Gardens area of Manchester. Footage of Manchester College of Science and Technology shows exterior shots of the building and students walking along to entrance. Also, rooftop views show construction and building work extensions underway at the College amongst city buildings. Interior shots include students working in a print classroom, reading in the library, lecturers using machinery and academic staff during a break drinking cups of tea in the canteen. Students on the street wear fancy dress costumes, while some are seen dancing during Rag Week activities. Concludes with a train journey from Bury to Rawtenstall, as the countryside and passing buildings are seen from a moving carriage. |
