Olivia is bathed by her mother. In the Lake District a group of men visit the memorial to John Ruskin and there are general views of the area in colour. Mrs Gribbon is seen with her baby outside Bispham Parish Church and the film ends with shots of a crowded Blackpool beach and seafront, with a few military vehicles driving past. Guests and bridesmaids arrive at the church for a wedding, soon followed by the bride and groom. After the service, the wedding party have photographs taken outside the church. At the reception the bride and groom can be seen greeting guests. During a trip to Capel Curig in Wales, they stay at the Royal Hotel where guests can be seen having food and drinks. A woman walks along the hotel corridor and into her room, shots of the view from her window. The woman and friends can be seen enjoying tea outside the hotel. In the next scene we see "Benny" the horse running around a field before his owner leads him back to the stables. In Prestatyn, we see shots of the Deva Private Hotel and cafe. The woman and cameraman are shown around the empty cafe and kitchen.

At a very full Wilderspool Stadium, Warrington take on Wigan in a rugby league match. In the colour part of the film, a brass band play to a very crowded stadium. Scenes from the match followed by fans swarming the pitch at the end of the game.

Scenes from young Deirdre’s Yorkshire childhood, including riding her tricycle, helping her father to mow the lawn and playing with his model railway, gathering berries and picnicking with her mother, and holiday scenes on the Isle of Man. At Christmas Deirdre plays with her presents which include a model garage, and is seen in Roundhay Park, blowing dandelion clocks and enjoying a boat ride.

Family visits to the beach see children building sandcastles and paddling in the sea, also climbing up and rolling down sand dunes. A visit to a farm provides a close-up view of pigs in their pens, and cattle.

The Moss family at home in Prestwich and on day trips to Heaton and Broughton Parks. Includes a visit to London for a wedding and a number of holidays in Southport, Derbyshire, St Anne's and York. Shows many shots of the filmmaker's daughter Judith Moss as a child dancing and posing for the camera. A short sequence of Alderman Abraham Moss and other dignitaries laying foundation stones at Manchester Jews' School and family members are seen visiting the Festival of Britain in 1951.

Children are seen taking rides in a cart pulled by a llama and Maureen and Hazel take a ride on a camel. The film ends with close ups of butterflies on flowers.
