Brief views of a family picnic, and scenes from a number of vintage car rallies and races. Views from the window of a train in Lancashire, passing through Whalley, Clitheroe and Chatburn, and a small boy is seen playing with a puppy outside the family's soft-drinks business, T Greenwood & Sons Ltd.
 
 
 
THE INTRUDER

The boys start fighting, but come upon a third camp and discover the true "Intruder". They come together to confront him and throw the culprit into the lake as punishment. The film opens with shots of a couple going for a walk in the countryside near Bowness-on-Windermere. They then go for a cruise on lake Windermere followed by a visit to see Wordsworth's cottage. In Ambleside, they visit the market and look around the different stalls. The group visit Cartmel where they look around the Priory Church of St Mary. The film ends with a brief shot of the beach in Bootle.

Underexposed people in the countryside followed by a woman walking in a formal garden of a large house. Views of the Arnside estuary in Cumbria with mountains and hills in the distance. A man [Rigby?] digging turf in a overgrown garden then scenes with a man, two women and a small dog in the garden at Rigby's bungalow. The film end with a look at the other houses near the bungalow.
 
 
 
WANDERINGS IN LAKELAND

Views from a moving car on the road to Keswick followed by cattle and sheep in the fields and scenic views of the mountains and lakes. A group of men and their fox hounds in front of the Kirkstile Inn in Loweswater near Cockermouth and sailing boats on a lake. Snowy scenes with children building a snowman and a young boy learning to ski then a group of adults enjoying a game of curling on a frozen pond. In Springtime we have snowdrops in bloom, swans nesting on their eggs and a young boy collecting tadpoles. After a woman feeding her chickens we have beach scenes with 3 women sat in the dunes holding seabird chicks. The film ends with motorcross races from the Whitehaven Motor Club.
 
 
 
[WANDERING IN LAKELAND - SUMMER AND AUTUMN]

Views from a car on a country road, flowers in a garden and views of a lake. After a close up of an ants nest a man swims in a lake and sits by a waterfall. Driving on the Hardknott Pass, the steepest road in England then a young girl bottle feeds a lamb. Scuba divers getting ready then swimming in a lake followed by scenic views of the lakes and a women painting a street scene. A group of hikers in the hills and climbing the Bowder Stone are followed by piglets in a muddy field. After motorcross we see a miniature steam railway carrying many happy passengers followed by a man rock climbing. The film ends with Autumnal scenes with the trees shedding their leaves and pheasants in the long grass.
 
 
 
[WALKING DAYS; BUTLINS; IN THE GARDEN AT HOME]

Family trip to the beach, children play in the sand. The family go on holidays to Butlin's Pwllheli - lots of shots of the holiday camp and activities including a fancy dress competition. Back at home in the garden the children play together. Throughout the reel the film cuts to and from scenes of Hollies Convent School Whit Walks, and the children practicing and preparing for the processions in the garden. The younger sister helps to hang the clothes on the washing line.
