Mr and Mrs Ashforth are seen in the garden of their home in Heywood followed by scenes of the funfair rides, elephants and miniature railway at Belle Vue. Southport's Pleasureland and model village are seen, as well as a vintage car rally at Blackpool Airport. There are views of the beach and boating pool at the north end of Blackpool, and the film ends with views of Bolton Town Hall and town centre.

Boys compete in a hurdles race and long distance race, and then we see slow motion shots of the boys running. The film ends with a tug-of-war contest. CHRISTMAS 1965; CHRISTMAS 1966; A VISIT TO WEDGEWOOD

Hilda and Roy Garner visit a family grave at All Saints church, Church Lawton, and are visited by friends. They are seen cashing up at their shop, a Gents' Outfitters in Wilmslow, and at their new home at Christmas, exhanging gifts and preparing and eating Christmas dinner. The Hawthornes visit on Boxing Day - the children play with their new toys, they pull crackers over the dinner table and have a game of Mousie Mousie. In January 1966, the Ray family visit, and in November, a window in the shop is replaced and the Christmas display prepared. Scenes on Christmas Day followed by a Boxing Day visit to the Hawthornes'. They are seen at Rhyl on New Year's Day 1967 and in July, the Wilmslow Chamber of Trade visit the Wedgwood factory at Barlaston. After an introductory piece to camera by a man in a bow tie, there are singing contributions by a variety of people of different ages including sea cadets and schoolchildren. 'Liver at Liverpool Airport' shows cargo being unloaded from an Aer Lingus plane and a British Eagle aircraft arriving. Finally 'Liver visit Hyde Park' has scenes at Speakers' Corner. The Wild family visit the Lake District and Scotland in this series of holiday scenes. After opening shots of a boat ride on a lake, the family are seen in Grasmere and then over the border in Gretna Green where a bagpipe player performs. Back in the Lake District, there are further boating trips, a ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale miniature railway, and use of the Windermere car ferry. Concludes with views from a pleasure craft on Lake Windermere.
