Couple stand at a home bar, laughing and drinking aware of the camera recording the action. The woman from the couple is then joined by another woman who continue drinking and laughing in a similar vain, then pose in a wig and hat. The two women fall to the floor laughing. The original couple dance the twist before cuddling on the sofa. The women then lark about on the stairs and attempt to slide down the bannister.

Pupils and teachers of Bolton School on holiday in Italy begins with the boys onboard a boat and then exploring Roman ruins including an amphitheatre. The boys swimming in the sea and clambering onto a surfboard. A large pelican sat on the harbour wall is followed by views from a boat and campsite scenes. More boat scenes exploring sea caves are followed by two boys on a ski lift and the pupils waiting for a train.

A family holiday with seafront and Lake Windermere scenes. A tugboat in Barrow docks, possibly the Glasson Dock, followed by a naval ship launch and a submarine is seen in the Walney Channel entering the docks. Parts of this film were shot at dusk and are underexposed.

The film finishes with footage of a reception. There are close-ups of the food and shots of people dancing.

A Canadian Pacific cruise to Casablanca, Lisbon and Teneriffe. An older women is the focus of the film - she is seen enjoying herself relaxing on the ship, taking part in life jacket drill, and sightseeing at the various ports of call. Activites include swimming in the pool, and sack and stilt races. The woman is also seen at home, and visiting another house, linking arms with her friends in the garden.

Preparing the boat and then sailing scenes off the Conway coast. Sefton and his best man ride to the synagogue in full morning suits on a tandem bike. Helen, the bride, leaves home and gets into the wedding car followed by underexposed scenes in the synagogue and the wedding service. A 6 month old Mark Samuels playing with a bucket and spade, walking in the countryside and paddling in the sea.

Footage of the redevelopment work in the town of Northwich. Buildings are demolished and there are shots of the town centre before it is remodelled. There are shots of building sites and partially erected buildings. There is footage of the new concrete shopping centre being put together, and in reel two, scenes of the official opening of the centre on the 21st of July 1972 by the Duchess of Kent.
 
 
 
[BUILDING OUR HOUSE - TY COCH]

Shot over several years, this is a record of the filmmaker and his wife turning a derelict farmhouse on Anglesey into a habitable rural home for themselves and their dogs. The film includes scenes of the couple hard at work on the building itself, where a lot of structural alterations were involved, and a wide range of building skills required, and also outside, clearing the overgrown land to turn into a garden.

Promotional film which looks at the manufacture and operation of a ring spinning frame at Scragg Yarn Developments Ltd of Macclesfield. Opens with views of steel workers feeding a blast furnace, followed by frame components being machined in a lathe and thread being tested in a laboratory. The completed frame is then seen being operated, including close ups of various working parts and scenes of a woman lacing up the machine and changing bobbins.

A compilation of offcuts, including indoor and outdoor scenes at the filmmaker’s home in Anglesey. There is show jumping at an outdoor event, and hot air balloons are inflated and take to the sky; a group of boys fish in a river; a dog goes mad at feeding time, and a cat is seen eating a mouse. Elsewhere, a woman wearing a leg plaster cast shows how to tackle a staircase; there are scenes in a greenhouse, a woman digs up vegetables from the garden, and a man clears snow from a yard.

The Altrincham CHA [Countryside Holidays Association] hold an Easter Party and Dance at Christchurch Hall in Timperley, with an Easter Bonnet Parade and Sybil Bletcher being pulled around the hall on a cart. Dancing lessons for members with Harold and Rose Corby are seen, and there is footage from a Review Night, with comedy sketches and singing. The CHA are seen walking at Ilkley before descending on Harry Ramsden's restaurant for fish and chips. Walking holidays to Grasmere in 1966 and Scarborough in 1967 by Altrincham CHA are also seen.
