The happy couple are seen signing the register, and there are then scenes of the reception, food and drink being served and then the bride and groom cut the cake. The car, decked out with ribbons and tin cans, is seen departing. A small child is seen in the garden playing with a ball, and falling over.

3rd Barrow in Furness (Grammar School) Scout Troop trip to Scotland and some of the Scottish Islands. Shots from the journey are followed by scenes at Auchengillan campsite. They then continue north on to Balmacara where they set up their main camp though most of the rest of the trip is beset by very heavy rain - an attempt to visit the Falls of Glomach is beaten back by the weather and muddy scouts try to wash themselves afterwards. On clearer days the scouts go hillwalking, visit the Isle of Skye, dry out their camping gear and swim in the sea. Also scenes of pancake making, cooking and sandwich preparation. The return trip passes briefly through Oban and Carlisle, and Paul Walsh celebrates his 12th birthday. [Catalogued as part of 'Revitalising the Regions' - a Screen Heritage UK project, 2011]
