The group explore the beautiful lawns and gardens. Some members of the group play croquet on the lawn. Later they all go on a long walk, stopping by the Bridge House in Ambleside for some ice cream. After crossing some slippery stepping stones the group soon reach Rydal Water where they take a well earned rest. Finally they spend some time in Bowness-on-Windermere before heading back to Cleveleys. The film cuts to the Sunday School anniversary procession which was led by the Naval Cadet band through Cleveleys. Also in attendance was the Sunday school Queen and choir. In July, many of the parishioners of St Andrews attended a service at St Augustine's Church in Huncoat. They were there for the licensing of the Reverend John Reeves by the bishop of Burnley. Later that month saw the crowning of the new Sunday School Queen at St Andrews parish church. The film ends in the school room of Holy Trinity Church South Shore. Reverend John Pritchard and his wife Wendy Claridge brought the youth of their church for a week long holiday to Blackpool. They used the school room as their hotel, the weather wasn't very good so they played games and played music indoors.
