The bride and groom depart followed by friends and family. At the reception the happy couple have formal photographs taken and cut the wedding cake. After brief shots of the Kirkmans at home we have scenes from another wedding with the bride, bridesmaids and guests arriving at the church. Photographs are taken before the bride and groom depart in the wedding car.

The Shaw children paddling in the sea at Cleveleys then playing on the slides and sailing a boat in a paddling pool . A boy in a paddle boat then enjoying donkey rides on the beach followed by majorettes dancing. After swimming and using the big slides into a swimming pool we have the first man on the moon filmed off the TV. Next we have views of the blacksmiths in Gretna Green in Scotland then picnics, crazy golf and a phantom ride along a coastal road. The film ends with scenic views of the mountains and lochs, a car on a ferry and walking the dog in the countryside.

Views of the Liverpool waterfront and boats on the river Mersey then club members fishing from the rocks. Campsite scenes followed by a seaside castle exterior and water skiing. Club members rock climbing followed by a phantom ride on Blackpool promenade during the Illuminations then campsite volleyball. More ships on the Mersey then a game of rounders on the beach followed by club members gardening, a bicycle race and hiking in the snow.

Views of a industrial landscape taken from a canal boat and a steam traction engine on the towpath. The Hatley children eating ice lollies followed by countryside views from a boat and opening canal lock gates. People practising rolls in a canoe at a boat rally with the local mayor giving a speech. After more countryside views and locks we have another rally with a marquee, a carboat on the canal and a punch and judy show. The film ends with a sunset filmed from the boat.

The wedding of Helen and Sefton Samuels at the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue on Cheetham Hill Road in Manchester. Sefton talks to the Rabbi then Helen arrives with her father and the service takes place under a canopy. The couple sign the wedding registry and then depart the synagogue then pose with a tandem bike. We see the family and friends exit the synagogue then underexposed shots of the wedding reception as the guests chat and mingle. The film ends with Sefton and Helen leaving the reception and getting into the wedding car.

Scenes from Frizington Gala Day with Gala Queen, stalls, ten pin bowling and people eating ice creams. A tour of Yorkshire visiting Harrogate, York, Fountains Abbey and Castle Howard. Seaside scenes with a Punch and Judy show on the promenade followed by water lilies on a pond. Another wedding with the bride and groom who is in naval uniform posing for photographs. The film ends with children playing on a pedal go-kart, petting horses and a dog playing with a hosepipe.

GOING TO WORK - HOSPITAL WORK

A man with a head injury is taken to Hope hospital, Salford, in an ambulance. A nurse asks questions and a Dr examines him. A voiceover describes the roles of hospital staff. A nurse, Linda, treats the patient. Linda gives an interview and answers the matron's questions. Students partake in a class on bed-making, Linda is followed as she completes her training. A voice over explains the cadet scheme. In the hospital office, a member of staff, Brenda, discusses her role. The film looks at behind the scenes jobs in the hospital. Staff clean, trainee electrician Arthur Collins and apprentice cook Peter Navin train and work at the hospital, and on day release at the local technical college.

Mr Greenwood lights the bonfire with petrol, children excitedly help fuel the flames with newspaper and sticks then stand back to watch the bonfire burn. Footage cuts to a black labrador jumping over the Greenwood's fence whilst the Greenwood boys follow in pursuit. Finally, shots of the Greenwood boys emptying their wellington boots of sand whilst outside a beach.
