Film of the hand-over of Central Lancashire Development Corporation properties to Housing Associations. Present at the ceremony are Sir Frank Pearson, Chairman of the Central Lancashire Development Corporation (now known as English Partnerships), Ian Gow MP (Minister for Housing), Sir Hugh Cubitt (Chairman of the Housing Coporation). Richard Phelps (General Manager of the Central Lancashire Development Corporation) and the four Chairmen of Housing Associations. The film opens with several speeches being delivered in a large room, a crowd of CLDC and Housing Association officials watch. The various high ranking officials then decamp to an adjoining room where cheques are signed and 'Deeds of Goodwill' exchanged. At the close of the film the participants pose for photographs. | |||
