A party of friends and relatives of the Downing family are seen walking along a country road, posing for photographs and sitting outside a bungalow called The Anchorage. The Davidson family with Mildren and Alexander Moffat walk along a country lane and young Ronald Downing is seen waving from a car. Concludes with friends sat in a tent having a tea party.

Continues with a parade in Liverpool with crowds lining the decorated streets as cars,the military and other people are seen walking in procession. OPENING OF THE NEW BRIGHTON BATHING POOL BY VISCOUNT LEVERHULME, 13TH JUNE 1934

This film documents the opening ceremony of the New Brighton outdoor swimming pool. The film starts with exterior shots of the building as visitors arrive. We then see inside as the dignitaries arrive. There are general views of the pool and then speeches are made by the Mayor Councillor H.J. Hall and Viscount Leverhulme. This is followed by diving and swimming displays watched by the crowd, one of the swimmers is named as N. Wainwright. The film ends with a fashion parade of women's swim and leisure wear around the side of the pool. The film also includes titles which give statistics relating to the size of the pool.

This films shows a series of brief scenes from what appear to be group holidays to the Isle of Wight and Morecambe. The film opens with a sign for 'St Rhadagund's Guest House C.E. Holiday Homes Ltd. Lancashire and Cheshire Federation'. We then see scenes from the Isle of Wight, followed by scenes from Morecambe. We see the group out walking, and out and about on daytrips. They play in the sea and sit on the beach. They go on boat trips and we see them on trains and waiting at railway stations. They play croquet, tennis and ball games. There are shots of the scenery, and of trains in motion and arriving at stations. We see a small plane taking off and there are views of rough seas and waves crashing on to the seafront at Morecambe.
