The reel includes Dufay colour sequences of the Parkinson children wearing foreign costumes walking up a garden pathway introducing and concluding film. Scenes show mountainous landscapes, visits to waterfalls, a market in Drammen and the lido at Bygdones in Oslo. The party are seen stopping for picnics along the way as the road trip continues across the border into Sweden with shots of a lake near Karlstad. A brief sequence back in Norway shows a timber being stacked in a large pile from conveyor.

Local newsreel events - include the opening of the New Mersey Square Bridge extension at Stockport. The Mayor Alderman John Coupe addresses a large crowd. Mr Joshua Preston attends a tree planting ceremony at Bramhall St. Michael and All Angels Church, to celebrate the Silver Jubilee. Further footage includes Remembrance Day in Stockport on November 11th 1935 and the opening of the new outdoor swimming baths at Woodbank Park on June 1st 1935. Crowds of spectators sit around the pool and watch a group of girls perform a synchronized swimming display.
