Cliff Lamb's 1935 12 hour record attempt starting at the Pack Horse Hotel is featured, as is cycle track racing with J Parkes winning the handicap and "The Ten." A poster advertises the Manchester Wheelers 12 Hour Classic on Sunday 19th September 1937, also showing footage of the event itself through Cherry Lane and Whitchurch and outside the Swan Hotel. Norman Nichols is filmed on his bicycle from a car and there are shots of marshalls directing the riders - a herd of cows crosses the road. There is a tandem participating in the event. | |||

Short fictional film made by the Mid-Cheshire Amateur Cinematography Society. A man borrows a book about secret societies from the library - on the way home, engrosssed in the book, he accidentally pushes a woman collecting for charity. Later, the man and his family go for a picnic near Beeston Castle. Whilst his wife and daughter go for a walk, the man continues reading his book until he notices a Ku Klux Klan member at the bottom of the path to the castle. He follows him up to the castle, where he is attacked and taken to a cave full of Ku Klux Klan members. The charity collector reappears briefly, and orders that the man be thrown from a cliff. As they throw him over, the man wakes up - it was all a dream - but he is sufficiently shaken to give a large donation to another charity collector. | |||
