Includes footage of; Ellen Octavio with her pets, the Rubio Sisters (gymnasts), Camillio Caroli Troupe and their Corinthian Riding Act, Captain Tommy Kaye's lion act, Crocker's Teddy Bears, Hagenbecks Six Elephants and the Crystal Wonders (dance act). A wide varierty of animal acts are seen and captions introduce the acts. There is footage of clowns interspersed with the acts. The second is to Cornwall and features footage of St Ives and St Michaels Mount. The third holiday is to Blackpool. Includes shots of railway tracks and countryside shot from a train. Continues with footage of Blackpool Tower from its base, and views from the lift and summit. The beach and pier are featured as is the Pleasure Beach, North Pier Orchestra and Tower Roof Gardens. Reginald Dixon is seen playing the 'Wonder Organ' and a group of musicians playing the spoons and accordions feature. Cuts to shots of people in a garden before closing with colour footage from Blackpool. A Punch and Judy show, the pier, the beach and some gardens are all seen.

The film begins with a model yacht sailing on a lake at Lindow Common, Cheshire, with John Potter playing lakeside. Continues with members of the Potter family on the patio at Bowdon( ?). Continues with views of the York (?) City Walls and a gate-house, York Minster (?), Cliffords Tower (?) and the River Ouse (?). Good panoramic views of Scarborough : North Shore and Pavillion , South Shore from the Grand Hotel to the Harbour; rough seas and waves breaking over the promenade. Scenes of Whitby (?) harbour with trawlers and fishing boats,a light house and pier. Continues with footage of Latchford Locks on the Manchester Ship Canal: a ship is towed through by a tug. Next there are short colour views of a garden and flowerbeds. Features scenes from Prestatyn Whit Week; a seaside family picnic, John paddles and plays on see-saw; scenes from a childrens' sports day races: egg and spoon, sack race, relay races and prize giving. There is also footage of a holiday to Tenby. Family and friends are seen on the beach. John Potter is seen playing with a model boat. There is footage of seagulls on water, and then scenes of people strolling along the sea front, followed by a pan across a valley from above and then a boat trip. The film closes with all the female members of a family playing an arm-waving game (or possibly doing exercises).

Film of the 1938 FA Cup Final between Preston North End and Huddersfield Town. The teams walk out onto the pitch and are seen being presented to a VIP. The coin toss is featured prior to various shots from the match. The game goes to extra time - the foul on Mutch, giving Preston a penalty - is seen in stop-motion. Mutch converts the penalty and Preston are seen collecting the cup after their 1-0 win.

Film of Preston North End FC following their FA Cup Final victory over Huddersfield Town in 1938. The outside of Wembley Stadium is featured and the team is seen with the FA Cup in London. After their return to a packed Preston Station the team travel through the crowd -flanked streets. Speeches are made from the Town Hall steps. The cup is seen being paraded before the crowd at Deepdale.
