Various members of the Higginson family are seen standing around and also relaxing in a garden. They are also seen standing near The Lake Side Cafe and beside a car. The film features footage of Mr G H Higginson jumping around wildly and doing handstands and forward rolls. Following his exertions he is seen holding his daughter Sylvia. Sylvia is also seen two years later with her grandmother in a garden.
 
 
 
[SKATING AT SEFTON PARK AND CAMPING SCENES]

Scenes showing members of the Randall family and friends on a winter's day skating on Sefton Park Lake. Two men (one of them Ken Wilson?) play leapfrog in the garden of the family home, smoking a pipe and talking to the camera. A group of men are seen sitting outside their tents during a camping trip at Skelwith. Footage includes two older men dancing on the sidelines of a rugby pitch- on a windy day, followed by shots of unidentified teams playing in a rugby match. Further scenes show men and women skating on Sefton Park Lake, men on a camping holiday near Morecambe, including shots of a man dancing to a gramophone record and another pointing a rifle as he shoots at a bottle target. Ends with a group of men taking a pleasure boat trip on Lake Windermere, having a meal inside a tent and pulling a piece of farming equipment in a nearby field.

There are interior shots of a little girl opening a birthday present, baby Pamela's 'Premiere' as she is seen with a dummy in her mouth and a baby boy at bathtime.

A story about a woman who goes out shopping and forgets the joint of meat in the oven, with the result that it burns. To avoid this happening again she invents a gadget with an alarm clock and a hairpin, which will turn off the gas at the right time.

The treatment of a particular patient at High Carley tuberculosis sanatorium near Ulverston - he is shown arriving at the station, being admitted, examined and x-rayed, and a microscope slide of the tubercule germ is seen. Family footage of a fox hunt shot in Broadway; April 1926. Crowds of people gather in the countryside to watch the hunt assemble. The huntsmen are seen milling about amongst their horses, dogs and the rest of the crowd. Scenes of the chase include a shot of the pack streaming through an opening in between some trees and across a field followed closely by the rest of the riders.
